I started AppalachianWX in February, 2007, as a way for me to share my interest in weather with the world. I am no more than an amateur forecaster, though I do know a bit about meteorology and quite a bit about this area. My forecasts aren’t to be taken as final word, but more as a “secondary opinion.” For official forecasts, visit the National Weather Service.
